One of Australia's leading life insurers is currently recruiting a Retail Life Claims Assessor to join their Sydney team. Reporting into a Claims Team Leader, the ideal candidate will be experienced managing a portfolio of complex Life insurance claims.
The Role:
  • Maintain a manageable portfolio of Retail Life Insurance Claims 
  • Assessment and investigation of claims relating to Income Protection
  • Develop excellent relationships with clients, life insurance advisers, doctors, solicitors and rehab providers
  • Calculating benefits payments
The Candidate:
  • Minimum 1 years experience in a Retail/Group Life Insurance Claims Assessor role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical and inquisitive approach
  • Genuine empathy and interest in servicing clients, along with ability to build strong relationships with advisers and service providers
  • Strong team player with commitment to the rest of the department
