Senior Administration Specialist
This is your opportunity to join the Trustee Office of a multi-award winning Industry Super Fund, known for how well it caters to its members from both an outcome and service perspective. In this highly important role it will be your responsibility to assist in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the outsourced administration of the Fund in accordance the Funds objectives. Specifically with the aim of assisting with the management of the Administration component of specific projects implementing the Fund's strategies, business plan activities and product initiatives.
Some of your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Maintain a strong understanding of procedures, service standards, business rules and systems and be the main escalation point internally and externally.
Ensure that Administration, Member and Financial Adviser issues are responded to and resolved.
Ensure documented Business Rules reflect current processes and achieve effectiveness and efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline business processes including the implementation of new initiatives, service standards and the member experience once agreed.
Assist in the identification and monitoring of outsourcing and operational risks, including the recommendation and implementation of controls
Prepare responses to Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT) for all non-insurance related complaints or litigated matters and work with Manager - Insurance as necessary regarding insurance complaints
Work with Administrator and other relevant providers to implement the Fund's strategies and product initiatives
Your key skills and attributes:
Strong understanding of superannuation legislation and administration
5+ years' experience in a similar role
RG146 is the minimum requirement.
Excellent verbal and written communications / report writing skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and efficiently in order to run with multiple projects and activities
